Lovely red or dark pink vintage women's hat( I can't decide which it is, definitely in the pink family!) from the 1940s has a great fit and I can see it with a Navy and white polka dotted dress at a USO dance.
It has a veil but the veil has holes, though if you wear it higher instead of down, they don't show.

It fits any size head, and was from Razooks, in the Plaza Hotel, NYC. It does have a couple moth chews on the back as shown, and some under the veil.
